I found this great profile of James McAvoy and Casey Affleck on The Movie Fanatic that I thought I would share. A TALE OF TWO ACTORS: Casey Affleck and James McAvoy Two low-profile, yet extremely talented actors got some of the spotlight during the Oscars - James McAvoy and Casey Affleck. Although McAvoy did not get a nomination for Atonement, Affleck managed to get a nod for The Assassination of Jesse James.

Supporting acting nominees are great because they range from a mind blowing, one or two scene performance (Hal Holbrook) to a strong acting presence throughout the whole film (Casey Affleck, Javier Bardem). This year each nominee turns in an amazing performance and deserves to win as much of the next, but there is an obvious front runner.
