Angels & Demons is the latest Dan Brown novel to be adapted for the big screen, following the film version of The Da Vinci Code, which was released all the way back in 2006. Ron Howard is back directing Tom Hanks who plays Robert Langdon, the Harvard symbologist who "works to solve a murder and prevent a terrorist act against the Vatican." Ewan McGregor also stars in the film, which opens in UK cinemas on 15 May.

First Look: Teaser For Angels and Demons I'm not totally sure that The Da Vinci Code was so awesome that Dan Brown's other popular novel, Angels and Demons, needed to be adapted for film, but Hollywood didn't listen to me on this one and the movie moved forward. Now we have a little peek at what might be in store for us and from this very brief look, the film does appear to be pretty spooky and riveting. Ron Howard directs and Tom Hanks is again playing Robert Langdon the Harvard symbologist who "works to solve a murder and prevent a terrorist act against the Vatican."

The Boys Band Together on the Emmy Red Carpet The men left all the color to the ladies on the red carpet at the Emmys last night, keeping it tame in their dapper suits and tuxes. True to form, the Entourage boys walked and posed together, while Jeremy Piven and John Krasinski held their own with their hands in their pockets. Diddy hammed it up as usual, and Patrick Dempsey, Jon Hamm, and Neil Patrick Harris added just a little more dreaminess to the equation.
