    Those are all great!

On a somewhat related subject--Obama collectible plates--I read the *best* quote this weekend. I was on a forum populated mostly, as best I can tell, by 97% males, and most of them over 40 or so. The topic came up there, and one guy said "I need two of them: One to cr@p in, and one to cover it up."

    These are great sam.

Hubby saw that commemorative plate commercial again last night and said - if we ever walk into someone's house and those plates are hanging, we'll turn around, walk out, and never speak to them again! Sticking out tongue

On a separate and maybe creepy side note, *you* were totally in my dream last night, Sam! Even though I have no clue what you look like in real life. It was definitely you though! shrug Sticking out tongue

Actually we were hunting mice. You were helping me set up mouse traps. Weirdest thing ever. Yeah, you looked something like that description. Either way I was totally comfortable with you in my house rummaging through my things trying to find mice.

I had to look this up but several mice represent small worries and problems which may cause serious damage.
So I was helping hunt down and rid you of your mind of worry - i am good with that. Smiling

Oh my goodness, my dreams are always madness. I have no idea what is up with my subconscious. It's a flood of craziness.

The mice were eating my desserts I've been baking (they lived in my oven). PERHAPS, I'm worried about being a failure at baking without recipes (see my latest blog post). Smiling

My wifes parents had a summer home on Long Island when we first met. Every winter mice would build a nest next to the pilot light of their stove.

I have no idea why, but I have this completely unfounded fear of mice. shrug

That is why such fears are called phobias. I can't stand heights. In will trade my phobia for yours.

Sy and Grandpa, I guess everyone has *something*.
Over the years I've developed a dread of crowds. I didn't even realize it for the longest time. I get stressed and anxious, and the more my personal space is encroached upon, the worse I get.
The family is awesome at humoring me. If it's really bad, hubby will walk ahead and kids flank me. We just kind of evolved it that way.
Come to find out it's a "real" thing and has a name: demophobia.

My husband hates crowds too Lain. And I've come to share that hatred a bit, but I wouldn't call it a phobia of mine. But I think it definitely is for him. Bad things happen in crowds, so that's a good one to be scared of.

Lain, maybe it is not a phobia, maybe your "channeling" some dead movie star. Do wear sunglasses a lot, and hats that cover your face a bit? Eye-wink

Sy, extend my sympathies to him, then. Sometimes it's really inconvenient.
However, I have used it as an excuse a couple of times to avoid the annual work "pep rally", which annoys the cr@p out of me anyway. Too much PC groupthink.

Grandpa: Nah, I'm just nuts. Eye-wink
However, it *is* So Cal; I can barely leave the house without sunglasses.
I have a collection, with various degrees of darkness.
