I didn't see that anyone posted this yet, but Clarisonic is voluntarily recalling certain models of the skincare brush that may overheat or catch on fire. I've had mine for over a year, and it IS part of the recall. I know five others who's have been recalled as well, so check your lot code on the bottom so you don't burn your sugarlicious face!

Dear Miss Priss,
Thank you for posting the information about the Clarisonic Voluntary Safety Recall. My name is Melissa and I work for Clarisonic. I just wanted to ensure that the brush could never burn your face, because the problem is with the internal electronic components. Itβs an issue of electrical safety, not an issue of effect on the skin.
The great thing about getting a replacement Clarisonic is that it includes advanced engineering which securely corrects the potential problem. And it has a fresh warranty, which has been doubled to 2 years.
You will also be given the option to upgrade to the adorable Pink Clarisonic!
If you have any questions I invite you to email me personally at melissa@clarisonic.com
Thanks again!
Melissa
