Casino Royale is the twenty-first film in the James Bond series and the first to star Daniel Craig as MI6 agent James Bond. Based on the 1953 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, it was adapted by screenwriters Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Paul Haggis and directed by Martin Campbell.
Whenever there's a new Bond film with a new actor playing the venerable lead character, there's a certain amount of wariness that goes through true Bond fans. However, I can happily say that these fears weren't needed for this film. Daniel Craig is, in my opinion, one of the best Bonds. He reminds me of Connery in the earliest Bond films, like Dr. No. God knows there's always debate over this, but that's what I think. lol Eva Green was a fantastic Bond girl, as well. Sexy, smart, totally unimpressed by Bond at first, just great. I really liked Judi Dench as "M", too. And of course, there's a bloody fabulous car. To me, it's just not Bond without an Aston Martin.
Overall, I think this film is a great addition to the Bond series and gets back to the roots of the character and the reasons why he acts the way he does. The best part? The last line of the film is, "The name's Bond, James Bond". Just classic.

I wanna see this.
