Sunset Rubdown - Random Spirit Lover

I came across one of the tracks from Sunset Rubdown's latest album in one of the many MP3 blogs I frequest, and wasn't initially interested. But it seemed evry freaking indie blog/news site I came across had RAVE reviews on this album. So I decided to give it another listen.

So here's the thing. You can't listen to just one track from the album. You have to listen to the entire album at once. Each song moves into the next beautifully and there is a story in there somewhere. I'll have to figure what it is though this weekend with a bottle of wine Sticking out tongue

Here's what Wiki says about Sunset Rubdown:

Sunset Rubdown is an indie rock band in Montreal, Canada. The band began as a solo project of Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade, who released the Sunset Rubdown debut Snake's Got a Leg in July 2005. Eventually, the group expanded to include Camilla Wynn Ingr of Pony Up!, Jordan Robson-Cramer of XY Lover and Magic Weapon (which includes Think About Life's Matt Shane and Shapes and Sizes' Rory Seydel), and Michael Doerksen. The new line-up released its first effort, the band's second album, Shut Up I Am Dreaming, in May 2006. The band's third album, Random Spirit Lover, was recently leaked on the internet. It was released October 9th, 2007 on new label, Jagjaguwar.

And the Stylus Magazine revie (The one that put me over the edge and convinced me to hear the entire album):

Thanks Shiloh! I have been uploading tons of albums lately. If you peruse them at all - I am curious if they are all playing full length or if they have been trimmed to 30 seconds. They are all playing full length for me, but I am wondering if other users can not hear the full song.

Dont go out of your way, but let me know if you do check more out. froggy

BTW I've been listening randomly to your playlists and some songs play for only 30 secs and others go their regular lenght. You have a great collection, new for me for the most part, and I am enjoying them a lot, thanks!

Awesome! - Glad you enjoy. Shocked)
I think that answers my question then; Thanks Shi! froggy

Aside - I have a tendancy towards impatience as well. I angrily logged out of Sugarland yesterday when it's slowness really got overwhelming - It literally took me 10 minutes to post a 3 line comment because of going back to correct typos. Argh! I hope they do some server upgrades or something soon.
