Growing up in my household as a child it was well understood that Super Bowl is considered a holiday. It was actually my dad's 2nd favorite "holiday" (Thanksgiving being 1st).
My mom would always go all out on making sure the guys had plenty of food to eat while yelling at the tv. Now that I'm on my own I am -of course- expected to carry on that tradition [since my mom spoiled my hubby for the past 5 years]
I did a practice run tonight for the big games -Go Colts-
So I thought I'd share with you what I had and will be having for Super Bowl (plus more)
First I made Aud's Party Meatballs
Second, was the wings
I just took frozen wings
and baked then for 30 mins on 400 and then added my sauce which consist of
Nothing Fancy
Baked for another 15 minutes and *done*
Next is my Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls Thingymajigs which I can not take credit for -my friend showed me these a long time ago.
First you should fry your sausage (1 pack)
Mix with Cream Cheese (1 pack) and stuff your crescent rolls
about a spoonful
One day you will master the art of the folding crescent.

bake for 11-13 minutes at 375.
Oh, and you will probably have a good bit of mixture left, so dish it up and serve it on crackers!
Like So...
Next, the mini burgers
Just make your burgers as you normally would -but make them smaller- hence, mini burgers.
To make the buns for them I simply take a regular slice of bread and a glass (but a round cookie cutter would work great also) and cut out a mini "bun"
Toast the buns and put your mini burgers on it and TAH-DUH! Sloppy picture, but you get the idea...
Here's all of the stuff I had for the "spread" (as my mom calls it)
The boys have Amber Bock and the girls have...
A little fruity drinky drink I like is
Some Lemon Lime Soda
and a Wine Cooler
It's just something to sip on and the Sierra Mist breaks up the HARSH fruityness of the wine cooler.
These would be super cute with a orange twist in them!
The End

Everything looks SO good!
I love that you're doing a practice run!! Such a Kitchen Goddess.
