My guess is that new housewife Gretchen is going to stir a lot of ire and jealousy amongst some of the older OC women. If you have followed the OC women since the first season, you know that these women are a very tight group of women unlike the Atlanta group. Not only do the new housewives have to be accepted into this exclusive club, but it seems based on Vicki's comment at Jeana's trunk show that new housewives have to look, dress and act similar in order to be a part of the group. I get the feeling that Gretchen is a bit of a rebel and will have a difficult time meshing within the group. Sure she and her finance who is 23 years her senior have lots of money to burn and she definitely has plenty of bleached hair to share among all five of the housewives. But Gretchen is already experiencing boob envy; according to the show, most of the women in Orange County have augmented breasts and Gretchen doesn't seem to want to be left out. By the end of the season, do you think Gretchen will drop $8,000 or so to fulfill her desire for more breasts?
Let's not forget that she's also 10 years younger than many if not all of the housewives (seems like Vicki might want to claw her eyes out over that one) and Lauri has already crowned her the "hottest" housewife, a title that 40 year old Tamra has already claimed. We'll just have to see if Tamra will continue to hold her title or if the new girl in town has snatched the crown right from her pretty little blonde head.
they made a huge deal out of nothing. although i did feel bad for them, getting left out of their dads will and that woman getting it all.
