I get emails from Hotwire, and tried them to rent a car in Orlando. The price wasn't great, so I just decided to wait a bit. Then they emailed me saying something like "prices have dropped" and I was able to rent from Budget (on airport location) for under $20 a day. Note, their deal is that they don't tell you which company you will be getting, but tell you that it is one of three named national companies. You might like to try this.
