Thanks for the info, I love that Apple is going green!

One thing I'd like to add is that many older Apple products can be sold working or for parts on popular auction sites. I am one of those people who owns a newer Mac and a Powerbook Pismo (love it!), which is my carry daily, "beater" laptop. Go ahead and try auctioning or giving away these items before recycling, someone may find a use for them. Smiling

the ipod thing is neat. i did that. i mean, really they leave you no option.

they tried to sell me a brand new replacement of my FIRST GEN NANO for $100!!!!!! YEAHRIGHT! Then the guy says, "or you can trade in your three year old awesomely designed nano for a 10% discount off the ugly obesepods that we make now" (okay not in all those words). so of course i appreciated the 10% recycling discount and bought the new obesepod.

That's a great program, but I never get rid of my older computers. I still fire them up and use them from time to time. Smiling Macs are never obsolete! Eye-wink
