I personally don't have a problem with the update, I guess. But I didn't watch her as a kid. My daughter loves her now. I haven't noticed the cell phones, yet, though.

Kinda sad about it I thought they already had a somewhat updated version that was just fine!

I know this is kind of old, but it makes me so sad to see her like that. She was my IDOL when I was a little girl. Now she looks like every other hoochified girl toy. GirlC is right - at least she didn't go blonde.
