My Easter Lamb Cake

My family always made an Easter Lamb Cake every year. I thought I'd continue on the tradition with my own family. Although the pan that I used is a little different than the one my family members use, I love it. My mom actually likes this new Wilton version better than her old lamb mold, because she sometimes had problems with the ears burning or breaking off. Anyway, here's a pic of the cake I made last year. I'll try and post this year's pic after I finish it. It's not the greatest, but not so bad for my first attempt!

Never saw a lamb cake before - so cute! Nice tradition too!

We have butter shaped like a lamb if that counts!

Oh Jenny Jen, we always get the lamb butter for Easter dinner, too! Funny story about the lamb cake, I have an Aunt who every year goes and finds a black jellybean and sticks it in the lambs' butt when noone's looking

Oh that is so adorable!!!! My fam has a lamb cake mold that my late grandpa made in the steel mill.. We *almost always* use it every day (unless my mom is too lazy ) but the face is nowhere near as cute as this one!!!
