I currntly am an executive assistant for a small local company in the bay area. As part of one of my duties I run the membership association for the company. In this I handle the membership development/retention, planning the education classes, planning of events, newsletter and marketing and acounting.
I love what I do and would like to continue in the executive assistant/personal assistant role. I am organized and flexible with my time if needed and am open to relocating and/or traveling.
Working for a company or individual that is involved in the community or social awareness is important to me. I love a good challenge and love to meet new people and not afraid of much.
If there is something or someone you know that might need some help, please do not hesitate to contact me

Yay! This is the intention of this group is to help each other network to find something we like. I am also in California and don't have any contacts out of state. But hopefully someone else will see this and help out with some suggestions. Smiling

This seems like a great group. I look forward to hearing more.

Can any policy, however high minded, be moral if it leads to widespread corruption, imprisons so many, has so racist an effect, destroys our inner cities, wreaks havoc on misguided & vulnerable individuals and brings death and destruction to foreign countries?

I am currently looking for a new job, mainly in the entertainment industry as a personal assistant/admin assistant but I feel my resume is too weak to land anything. I moved out to CA in Jan and am still looking to get started. Can anyone offer any help or would be willing to take a look at my resume to suggest some tips?
