I was just reading the latest Australian version of Vogue or Harper's Bazaar - couldn't remember which - and there was an interview with both mother and daughter. Allegra looks heaps better in those pictures, healthier, very beautiful and smouldering in a Katherine Mertuil-esque (Cruel Intentions) way. Are these pics recent? She's horribly skeletal here.

Of course Donatella cares about her own daughter! Just like Donatella loved her brother Gianni! HOWEVER, Donatella has problems herself and cannot see beyond that, despite money, fame and all the trappings of wealth. I wish people would think a little bit harder beyond seeing the pictures. Donatella had a massive cocaine problem after the murder of her brother (she went to rehab), the Versace empire was left on her shoulders and she knew her daughter was going to be left sole interest of the empire when she came of age. That's a lot of responsiblity. They are both most likely very ill women due to the industry and the stress. Money cannot cure everything.

I don't know anything about Donatella's daughter, but to me, it seems like she probably is the reason why her daughter is sooo thin and has anorexia. Donatella seems so body-conscious and has so many problems herself that it had to have been passed on to her daughter. That's sad really.

I was in the hospital with her years ago....She has been sick for a long time... and regardless of whether or not her mother cares for her, I hope she pulls thru.

last year i was hospitalized for my ed and i was in the same program allegra was. let me just say she looks alot healthier now then the last time i saw her. i think donatella does all she can do for her daughter. they are both very nice and donatella cares about allegra very much.
