I am currently contracting at an old place of employment but will need a new job in 2 months or so. With the economy what it is, I'd like to start looking now. Any tips for revamping my resume would be really helpful!

    Woo! Another Mass Commie, love it!

    One tip, take out the first sentence in your skills section, as it's redundant since you just listed your experience in the previous section.

    What type of job in mass comm are you looking for/applying to?

    You need to really tailor each resume to each position (i.e. if you're applying a marketing position, a writing job, p.r., design, etc. etc.)

    If you let me know which type of job you're applying to, I can give you some more specific tips. Smiling

    I would order it 1) Experience 2) Skills 3) Education

    And try to follow this format for all Experience listings:
    Position Held - Company Name
    Dates - Location
