Who said I don't have a sense of humor...

This whimsical, pop art styled cheese burger is the latest, and final addition to our patio.

I swear Haze, one of these days you are going to walk out to your patio and find me sitting there, martini in hand!! (I would need one after the cross-country flight!)

Thanks Ms. Martini! You're welcome any time. Just give me a jingle when you're at the airport and I'll pick you up, martini pitcher in hand Eye-wink

So, is the plan to fill the wall space with art? I like it, but I would go for larger pieces or groupings of smaller ones. Just asking.

Thanks so much ladies! You all are welcome anytime - seriously. Just give me a jingle from the airport. The Little Black COrvair and I will pick you up. Coem in a bunch or on your own. It's all good. Seriously though: A few days notice is good so I can clean up my studio. I tend to be messy and haphazard sometimes up there.

Robinesque - No. I'm not covering every inch of the wall with art but I have thought about that - cutting out individual panels and fitting them together at random. I just thought that would be a bit much at the moment. Who knows though - I tend to be very changeable in my nature. For now each painting is being treated as if it were hanging in a standard gallery and is being given it's own space. The cheeseburger thing came about because my husband was bugging me to hang something there and the cheeseburger is an inside kind of joke. LSMS: My son did not talk until he could speak in phrases. He never played around with much baby talk and it was a bit of a concern. One of the first things that he actually said was, "Cheeburber. Plain. No Chee." I would, of course, tell him to say, "cheeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzze" and he would laugh like all get out. Anyway: It's one of those kid-isms that hangs around and comes up at random. You just never know when someone will come out with it. Like I said - it's an inside joke and probably not very funny in truth.

Hey Beachwalker! Now there's a thought I might have to hold on to. Next year [maybe] we'll see. It's fuel for the fire - Really. Double Dutch thankies for that.

Astro_nerd... Yes. Maybe. I've given that some thought in the way of making a chalkboard there. That's for later though - when I run out of things to do. Eye-wink

Gonedelirious: It's nice to be meeting you. No the fridge is just being used as outdoor storage for my tableware and linens. I don't have room for it indoors and it's a pain to lug all of it in and out. The interior of it is near perfect and everything has stayed clean and dry over the course of 3 summers. I love "Chee-burger". It would be awesome for inspiration for a t-shirt print. I think you art of so wonderful: colorful, cheeky, and smile-provoking. I love all of the art you've done and shared so far.

PS: I'd love a party at your place. I probably have one of the shortest trips to your place, from southern NJ.
