So I've already posted a shizzload about my boyfriend's brother's wedding - the casual outdoor one in late-June.

Well, I've got another one first. A fancier wedding in mid-May. I didn't feel like spending a lot of money on a dress so I'm just going to wear one that I already have and wore once. It's a black jersey dress with a deep v-neck and fluttery kimono sleeves (perfect for camouflaging my upper arm fat) with an empire waist. It was originally below the knee but I shortened it so now it's just above. I don't have a photo of it but it's kinda sorta like either of these:

The sleeves on mine are shorter and flowier than these but the shape is about the same.
These sleeves are a bit more similar to mine but the skirt on mine is a little flowier.

It's a very versatile dress, and therein lies the dilemma. I wore it in December to my Christmas party with crocheted tights and black pumps. But I could also wear it with flat sandals or ballet flats for a casual look. But now I need to dress it up for spring.

I no longer have a nice pair of strappy black heels; I had a pair forever and they fell apart. I didn't buy a new pair because heels kill my feet and I hate them. But now I need a pair. And I don't want to spend a lot of money on them because I will only wear them once or twice a year.

And then. If I wear a black dress and black strappy shoes, I think I want a bright, colorful clutch. Yellow, maybe? I don't know. Again, I don't want to spend a ton of money on a clutch that I will carry once or twice.

And then, what about jewelry?

Any suggestions for affordable stuff? Links or widgets appreciated! The shoes don't HAVE to be black but I'm thinking black would be best as I could wear them with other stuff.
