Belle is 7 months old and about 3 weeks ago she started having little tremors through out her body. The first time we took her to the vet she had low blood sugar at 70.
The second time we brought her in all the tests they ran on her came back normal, the vets seemed stumped by how she was acting. She would run around like normal but as soon as she would come to a stand still she would get really wobbly and disoriented.
So after being observed there we took her home and set up an appointment with our regular vet. They ran another test and it turns out Belle probably has a liver shunt.
We are meeting with the liver specialist on Wednesday to discuss further treatment... quite possibly surgery. I think on Wednesday they are going to be doing an ultra sound to see if they can see where the shunt is.
So please say a little prayer for her or keep her in your thoughts.
