Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Activist group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has mocked Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on their website for ignoring their pleas to stop wearing furs.

The Olsen sisters were subjected by the group in their print ad and web site as the "Trollsen Twins" and call them "Hairy Kate and Trashley" Tuesday.

The site has an interactive game where guests can dress the twins in different dead animals and a video that uses footage from the twins' first TV show "Full House." The group says the video contains informaiton on how to "get through to the ethically challenged 21-year-olds" and that their "hearts are apaprently as nutrition-starved as the rest of their bodies."

Dan Shannon, PETA2's Assistant Director of Youth Campaigns, explains the group's motive for the ads, "No one would argue that Mary-Kate and Ashley could use some meat on their bones, but the last thing they need is hair on their backs, especially when it belongs to someone else. These two are a couple of real lightweights when it comes to both taste and compassion."
