My favorite Brad Pitt roles

Okay, so I am SO FREAKIN' TIRED of hearing about Brad Pitt on the gossip sites (no offense to PopSugar. Or Ima, haha). And I think he's a good looking guy but he's never been on my short list of potential movie-star boyfriends.

But I have to admit, the guy's a decent actor. I have never had any interest in seeing the movies where he plays a romantic or heroic lead: A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall, Seven Years in Tibet, Meet Joe Black, Troy... they sound like total snoozers to me.

But Pitt can play the hell out of a dark and/or quirky role. Some of my favorites:

Brad as the stoner roommate Floyd in True Romance. Hilarious.

Pitt as creepy redneck serial murderer Early in Kalifornia

Detective Mills in Se7en. Warning: SPOILER ALERT! This is the end of the movie so don't watch if you ever plan on seeing it.

Crazy Jeffrey in Twelve Monkeys.

Mickey in Snatch

And my absolute favorite, Tyler Durden in Fight Club.

12 monkeys and Fight club are all time favorites But you should reconsider Legends of the Fall. It really was a GREAŢ movie.

I am not a Brad Pitt fan at all but I have to admit he looked smokin in Fight Club. Oh! And I liked him as Patch Boomhauer on King of the Hill.

Troy wasn't really a romance movie, though. But Legends of the fall was fantastic.

My favourite Brad role is probably Floyd in 'True Romance', the character is just so funny - I heard it was his idea to turn him into a stoner guy too, which is pretty cool. And of course I love him as Tyler Durden. Ooh, and Mickey in Snatch, he does the Irish gyppo accent well.

I just caught "The favor" rerun on Lifetime or Oxygen or something like that and stuck around to watch it because Brad was in it. He plays such a wide variety of roles.

I LOVED Snatch. He was so sexy and funny.
And Se7en was amazing. I had to watch that damn movie on the front row of the movie theater and it was brutal.

I pretty much like him in everything. Troy, though, was lame. I mean if you're going to do history, at least do what really happened. I did love Legends of the Fall and A River Runs Through It.

    LOL! No offense taken!

I love all of these and would have to add the movie that hooked me in the first place.. sleazy bad boy in jeans a cowboy hat.. J.D. the hitchhicker, paroled mini mart robber, theif from Thelma and Louise. He came on the screen at that movie theater and I literally sat up straight and said HOT DAMN! Smiling

I have been in lust ever since. I stayed for the credits to look for his name!

He's a great actor, and easy on the eyes. He does better in small, quirky roles.
