All of the movies on the list are funny IMO (I don't know about Airplane thought because I have not seen it) but I chose the National Lampoon movies. The funniest two were National Lampoon's Vacation and Christmas Vacation.

All of them are so good but if I had to choose maybe Lampoons Vacations. There is one that Chevy Chase played in that was funny I think it was called Spies like Us.

I've not seen any of these so i can't say...i do love comedies but i guess i started watching them in the 90's

Heathers, a dark comedy, but the funniest of the decade

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is a classic! I love Ferris Bueller too. And of course Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
