Have you guys ever mixed your fav. moisturizer with foundation? Well, get ready to mix this.

Your fav. matte foundation with a brightening primer. It's a time saver AND it looks great.

First, if your foundation is already dewy and glowy, you might end up looking a bit too disco ball-ish when you mix it with a brightening primer that has shimmers in it. So stick with something matte, like my go-to Oil-Free Foundation from Nars.

I made it a 60/40 mix, 60% foundation and 40% primer, mixed it in my palm, and applied the mixture with my fingers, and blended it out on my face. Blending beyond easy, since the primer made it slide easily all over your skin. The look you'll end up with is the perfect natural look, the one that's between matte and dewy. The lasting power is great, especially if you use a silicone based primer like Sally Hansen's Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Luminizing Face Primer.

I've definitely mixed my BE foundation with Aveeno face lotion. I've never tried mixing primer and matte foundation, but maybe I'll give my Prime Time and MUFE Mat+ a try.

Oh yes, I have done something similar. I've mixed liquid luminizer with liquid foundation. It's great to get a natural looking glow. This is especially good for all the holiday parties coming up where you want to look extra special.

Cool I never thought about doing that. I don't use liquid foundation just bare minerals but I've been longing to try MUFE HD foundation.
