They're worth the allergy pills, and a kid can build up a tolerance to the dander once exposed for awhile anyway That's what my kids want, they just cost too much for me (apartment deposit...ridiculous!!) They are extremely kid friendly. And Obama was considered 'the underdog'... how cute is that?

I just also hope they consider a rescue as well as a shelter - I'm happy that they may be adopting an unwanted dog!!

Cute dogs! I've always been partial to terriers, so any of those works for me.

I love the Bichon Frise,West Highland White Terrier and my fave is the Yorkshire Terrier. Either one would be cute!

Our shelter was all abuzz and happy yesterday as soon as he said he wanted a shelter dog. Yeah! Lots of terriers aren't good with kids unless you make sure they get a job to do. Actually, that can be said of many breeds. They get bored if they aren't doing what they were bred to do so they start going after people. Barney anyone? Anyhow, I think they should get a BIG dog. Every dog in the white house seems to be little, obnoxious, and snappy.

I want all those cuties! how hard it's going to be to choose one.
