Do truck drivers get the respect they deserve?

Since WWII, the trucking industry has boomed and America has become dependent on the goods and products that truckers transport to our stores every day. Roughly 80% of all product in stores has been shipped by freight haulers and truck drivers. And yet, those with local truck driving jobs seem to get a bad rap. Do you think truck drivers get the respect they deserve for serving our American way of life?

Not just that, but some of them are just killers on the road. They drive recklessly and just hope you get out of the way.

I have experienced THOSE, Great Sommelier. But, gotta give it up for those that make the effort to be polite and drive DEFENSIVELY, rather than OFFENSIVELY.

Oh I do! That's why I said some. We just seem to have more of the bad than good around here.
