I chose to slice and I am so glad I did.
As most of you have already seen thanks to Bella we now know, Urban Decay Primer Potion has terrible packaging. This genie like shape is not conducive to getting every last drop of the miracle cream. But I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the amount that was left over.
You see I have been running low for awhile and been far too lazy and cheap to buy another so I have been pulling and tugging and bending my wand in contortionist like ways for a few weeks and I had convinced myself that MY Potion didn't have much left in it. BOY WAS I WRONG. I would venture to guess I had at least 1/2 or 3/4 more potion left!!!
That is insane.
So here is picture proof of my little project:
Cut open. Note - You will need a very sharp knife and a strong arm so BE CAREFUL!!
Scooping out the right side - Oh it gets better just wait
One side down another side to go.
Scooping out other side - I hit the Motherload!
Up close. I needed a bigger tub.
My arm was too tired to cut open the very bottom though I did try. I might wait for hubby to get home for that.
After finishing this I have to say that while I am sooo excited I have at least another few months (or more) before I need to purchase another Primer potion, I also can't help but feel a little angered that I had to go to such lengths and I feel awful for all those people who didn't have a clue about it and have thrown theirs out. What a waste.
The moral of the story (or project) is Urban Decay needs to seriously revamp the packaging because what we have to go through to get what we paid for is really ridiculous. And to make amends with their customers I also think that they should give some kind of discount on next purchase for anyone who threw theirs out without knowing about what was still left.

to Aud for this awesome step-by-step!

I had a sample of it back in December and I REALLY liked it. I think I might buy it when my little tub of UDPP remnants are finished.
that is actually a very good idea. I do agree, they should redo the packaging.
